Mike Ashley
I’m a senior director of research and development at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, currently leading flow cytometry R&D. Previously I managed automation, genomics, and centrifugation. My principal interest is in synthetic biology: automating the design-build-test-learn cycle using software and robots.
I have a lot of interests outside of work and not nearly enough time to pursue them all.
I have a blog with linklogs and reading lists.
Many years ago I was an academic computer scientist. I have most of my publications from that time.
